January 2008 Attendance Challenge Launches in Oldham & Salford

Oldham Borough Council and Salford City Council, working in association with social enterprise MOTIV is set to issue a motivating challenge to school children
for Spring Term 2008. The Attendance Challenge will award school attendance in two categories 100% Attendance and 100% Effort.

Novermber 2007 MOTIV wins Talk Talk Award

MOTIV, a Manchester-based social enterprise designed to improve school attendance through popular culture incentives, has received a TalkTalk Innovation in the Community Award at a ceremony at the House of Lords on Wednesday 14th November.

June 2007 MOTIV 'Popworld Experience'.

Two Manchester school children werel treated to an exclusive day out on Wednesday 30th May organised by Social Enterprise MOTIV for Manchester City Council.

The pupils were being rewarded for their hard work and excellent school attendance with a day out to remember including a full styling at Ben Sherman’s Carnaby Street Store, a VIP lunch at London’s world famous Hard Rock Cafe followed by a ‘behind the scenes’ tour of Channel Four’s ‘Popworld’ where they met a host of celebrities.

May 2007 Manchester 100 Challenge a Huge Success .

Figures just available show that record numbers of pupils at Manchester schools achieved 100% attendance at school during the spring term from January to Easter this year. The figures show that during the period of the Council's Manchester 100 Challenge campaign – run in association with social enterprise company MOTIV – nearly 14,000 pupils achieved 100% attendance
