Greater Manchester pupils pitch their news ideas to Channel M

Pupils from the schools across Greater Manchester were recently given a golden opportunity to pitch their ideas for a news feature to Channel M Today, at The Channel M Experience, hosted by URBIS. It was the final event from the MOTIV 100% Challenge which ran across Greater Manchester schools in Spring Term 2009. (more…)

Local Entrepreneurs Return to School for The Sharp Futures Project

Local entrepreneurs David Derbyshire and Lee Stanley returned to school yesterday with amazing results. David Derbyshire, Director of successful local business Astra Signs, will be sponsoring an impressive building wrap for the school near where he grew up, that demonstrates the most inspiring artwork for The Sharp Project on Oldham Road. The winning team will see their artwork scaled to half the size of a football pitch and draped down the side of the Sharp building. (more…)

YO! Sushi lessons in time keeping with The Attendance Challenge

MOTIV director Rose Marley wins Triodos Women in Ethical Business Award

MOTIV, Cafédirect and Yes Pure Intimacy win the Triodos Women in Ethical Business Awards 2009

The winners have been announced for the best female led ethical businesses in Britain: the Ethical Business category has been won by Anne MacCaig, CEO, Cafédirect; Ethical Small Business winners are Sarah Brooks and Susi Lennox, Yes Pure Intimacy and the Ethical Entrepreneur awards has gone to Rose Marley, CEO, MOTIV. You can keep up the challenge with just the badge system (new colours available in the designer badge range) and you can also purchase Crayola rewards at a subsidised cost if you are a Primary School or Reward Cards if you are a Secondary School.
