The MOTIV scheme has provided a tool to motivate our pupils based upon a framework that we already had in place. Attendance has increased across the board in all areas.  There is a drastic decrease in the P.A children.  One pupil who was referred to the EWO last year now has 100% attendance this year.  He wants the cards!!! The 100% Challenge has been a great success in our school. During the first 6 weeks out attendance has improved by almost 5%.  The posters around school and the materials provided to support the scheme are fantastic and raise the profile of attendance throughout the week.  It would be lovely to have a character come visit our school as we have seen in media clips from other schools.  I think our children would love that.” Assistant Headteacher, Wistaston Green Primary School, Crewe

“One persistent absentee has been particularly motivated by the LEGO and with the other support available for the family, has improved their attendance dramatically!” Deputy Head, Mellers Primary School, Nottingham

“The children really love receiving their badges and many of them wear them as part of their uniform. They are also looking forward to receiving their prizes for 100% for the whole term. The badges and prizes are really helping to make a difference to our attendance.” Headteacher, Charlestown Community Primary School, Manchester

“We have been pleased with the rewards we have received from MOTIV. I also found the support staff I have spoken to on the phone both helpful and supportive. The kids have been enthusiastic and have wanted to collect the full set of MOTIV badges and were also very pleased with the star prizes that MOTIV have given us.” PSA/Attendance Leader, Claremont Primary School, Nottingham

“The system has worked really well and the children have responded well to the incentives offered. The system for recording attendance is simple and the staff at MOTIV are extremely helpful. We had some difficulties with the prizes due to religious restrictions. The office were very understanding and sent alternative rewards, which were gratefully received by the pupils. We decided to offer maximum effort to those children who had to miss school for medical appointments, but not for children who are off due to illness. We have noticed that many children who would have taken the rest of the day off after e.g.  a dentist appointment, now come straight back to school.” Attendance Leader, King David Junior School, Manchester
